In one of the scariest events in Formula 1's recent history, Alfa Romeo driver Guanyue Zhou's car overturned near the grandstand and crashed into obstacles on the first lap of the ongoing British Grand Prix on Sunday (July 3).

Following his crash, Zhou underwent checks in the medical centre. There were no major injuries. He remains under observation in themedical centre," wrote Alfa Romeo in two separate tweets.
