Joseph Chestnut (born November 25, 1983) is an American competitive eater. He is currently ranked first in the world by Major League Eating. He is a native of Kentucky and lives in Westfield, Indiana.

Chestnut begins with a two-day cleanse of water and lemon juice, the same cleanse she does before the actual competition. "Most people, when you eat food, it takes nine to 10 hours to really digest it," he said.
His 14 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest wins resulted in a combined $140,000 win (before taxes, of course). Chestnut won both the hot dog contest in Jacksonville in 2021 and the pumpkin pie eating contest around the world.
